Connect Wisefish Stream App to Business Central
This Page includes all the different ways to connect Wisefish Stream App to Business Central.
The application supports both Cloud and On-Premises Business Central Installations.
Connect to Cloud
Follow the following steps to connect with the Cloud.

If your user is connected to more than one tenant, pick the environment you want to connect to.
Pick the company you want to have your default company. You can easily switch companies.
You will be presented with the main menu of the application or friendly message notifying you that Wisefish is not installed.
Advanced Options to Connect
The following options as in below screenshot are displayed for user to connect through the “Advanced” option.

On Premises
Connects you to a in prem Business Central instance. You need the API URL for the connection.
Supports both basic authentication and on windows devices. integrated windows authentication.
Cloud Sandbox
Allows you to pick which sandbox environment your tenant(s) have, and you want to connect to.
Guest Tenant
Allows you to use a specific tenant.
You might have to grant the application access to the tenant:
For tenant with ID XYZ use the following URL (replace XYZ with the correct tenant ID):
Connect as On Premises
Click the “On Premises” option and perform the following actions.
Enter the service Name. Service Name is the API URL for the on-premises installation, so you need to get the port number from your Administrators.
The default port number is 7048.Then you click on Next.

The new fields for Windows Authentication and Username and Password will be populated.
If you want to use the Windows Authentication, then click “Use Windows Authentication” and click on the “Sign In” button.
Otherwise, enter your username and password and then click on “Sign In” button.

Select the Company you want to use from the list of Companies.

If you are connecting to an “On Prem” instance you need to fill in some details about the environment.

As we can see on the previous image those details are: Server, Port number and Instance (Path).
If you don't know these details, don't worry, the next part is all about where you can see this information.
First you need to log in to the BC environment in browser and search for “Web Services”.
The field we are going to be looking at is the “OData V4 URL”, most of the links there are very similar and the following image displays what we are looking for.
Yellow = Server
Green = Port number
Pink = Instance (Path)

With this info we can fill in the data to connect to the environment.

Then you click on Next and use your credentials to log in. When that is done you can see the list of companies and all that is left to do is select the correct company and you are in.
Connect as Cloud Sandbox
Click on “Cloud Sandbox” option.
After Authentication select the sandbox environment you want to use.

The main menu will appear after the successful connection.
Connect as Guest Tenant
Click on the “Guest Tenant” option.
