Scanner Setup

Make sure the scanner you have connected is set up as a USB Barcode Scanner. You can make sure by opening “Device Manager” and it should appear like this.

If this is the case it is set up correctly and you can skip to the next section in the guide.
If not it could be set up in a “Keyboard Wedge Mode”, if that is the case the scanner won’t work as intended with the Stream application. Below is a link to a website that contains more info that will help you to set up the scanner correctly.
