Schedules trips can be issued ahead of time. They can be issued, days, weeks or months ahead of time. It is possible to use the Create Multiple Scheduled Trips action to pre-create scheduled trip for a designated shipping agent.

When the time comes for loading and dispatching of a scheduled trip, selected transport units need to be assigned to the reservation process of the goods to be transported. Transport units can be managed through the scheduled trip.
