To activate Intercompany for WiseFish the user needs to go through certain setup steps in each company involved in WiseFish Intercompany transactions.

WiseFish uses the Company Name as the Intercompany Partner Code.

To set up WiseFish Intercompany go to the search bar and search for WF IC Setup to open the setup page.

The WF IC Setup page opens up. To be able to use WF IC you need to setup for all involved companies:

  1. WF IC Setup

  2. Tenants

  3. IC Partners

WF IC Setup

There are four tabs on the setup page; General, WF Warehouse IC, WF Item IC and IC Partners.

Tip: Hover over the field name to get more information on the field.

General

The General tab contains information on the partner company which is the current company the user has open (the company on the company information page). The user must also indicate their sending and receiving instructions in this particular section.

WF Warehouse IC

If the user would like to send IC messages to a warehouse company, they can activate warehouse functionalities under the WF Warehouse IC tab.

WF Item IC

If the user wants to activate Item Transfer between companies they must do so in the WF Item IC tab.

Tenants

The user needs to connect to one or more tenants to be able to send IC messages to IC Partners through API calls. API calls enables you to send IC messages to IC Partners in different databases as well as those contained in the same database as your company.

MYND

To setup a Tenant you need to give the Tenant a Tenant Id and name and then provide the tenant's API Base URL along with Username and Password.

Then you use the Action “Update Companies” to retrieve the companies accessible through the tenant.

In the Companies list you can then delete companies that are not using WiseFish Intercompany if you want.
