3 ways of receiving

From this screen there are 4 3 ways of taking the next step. The selected operation you are going to use depends on if you need to create the pallet barcodes or use the existing barcodes that were created by the sender of the pallet.the pallets are already barcoded and/or already allocated to the particular receipt document:

  1. Barcoded pallets already in allocated on the systemReceipt
If pallets have a barcode and they exist in the system, they are these barcodes have already been created in BC, and have also been allocated to this particular receipt, the pallets will be visible on the To be Received tab. Therefore there is a possibility to use the tab
    Click directly, without scanning:
→ Open To be Received tab, click on the pallet to receive and Stream will open the Put Pallet screen - > see
    See chapter https://wisefish.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/WFPE/pages/edit-v2/160628737?draftShareId=b3009fae-1dbd-4578-8f04-72c4a1ff5098#Put-Pallet

  2. Barcoded pallets - but NOT allocated to the receipt
If pallets have a barcode, but are not visible on the To Be Received tab
Scan in the barcode with the Scan Pallet barcode field → see
See chapter https://wisefish.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/WFPE/pages/edit-v2/160628737?draftShareId=b3009fae-1dbd-4578-8f04-72c4a1ff5098#Scan-Barcode Next step will either be:

    1. Create pallet - if the pallet does not exist in the system this screen is needed to link it to an agreement line and tell how many items there are on in.

    2. Put Pallet - if the pallet exists, and now it can be put into bin

Creating Pallets

Create a Pallet with scanned barcode

When a pallet is already barcoded, but the pallet does not exist in BC do the following:

  1. On the Summary tab, find the particular line for the products that the pallet contains. This is very important, because the line contains information about the product.

  2. Press the Create Pallet button for that line.
-> The page Create New Pallet will open.

  3. In field Items, specify the number of trade items on the pallet

  4. Select Use this barcode

  5. Then scan in the barcode - or type it or use the camera - into the Pallet Barcode field

  6. (In this case, it is probably not needed to Print out the Pallet Label, since the pallet is already barcoded)

  7. Press Confirm

Tip
  • A new Pallet entry is created in the system with that same barcode.

  • This pallet is now allocated to this particular receipt agreement line.

  • The pallet has the given number of trade items
(The number of items given, will be posted to stock, after the receipt of the whole document is finished.)

  • Then the Put pallet screen will be opened automatically, if user is not ready to select a bin, then back out of this screen.

Receiving Pallets

This step is a demonstration of the

Scan Barcode

When a specific receipt is active, there will be a field available to scan a pallet barcode.

Info

Note: In the Windows application, scrolling upwards will make the field visible.

There are 3 possible ways of

receiving by using the external barcode on the pallet.

populating the Pallet Barcode field on this screen:

  1. Normal scan with a barcode scanner
    If

you have
  1. there is a connected barcode scanner

you can
  1. , simply scan the

external
  1. barcode

and get to the next step
  1. .

  2. Manually enter the barcode
    Scroll up

and you will see an input field where you can manually enter
  1. to make the field visible. Then type in the pallet barcode.

  2. Use the camera
For this to work, there should not be a barcode scanner connected. To use the camera simply scroll up and press the camera icon that is besides the input field, then point the camera towards the barcode.

  • All the functions above take you to the following pop up screen. Just like the pop up for a new pallet barcode, where you have the option to modify the number of boxes are on the pallet and print the pallet label, but that option is not selected by default because there is already a pallet label on the pallet.
If that pallet label is not damaged, you should not need a new one.
Press confirm to confirm that you are receiving the Pallet.

  • Scan Barcode

When a specific document is active, there will be a field available to scan a pallet barcode.

picture to show where the scan barcode field is

    Put Pallet

Now you have allocated a pallet to the receipt, either with a new barcode or an external one, then it is possible to put the pallet to the
    Tip

Whatever method is used to populate the field, the application does the following:

    1. Checks if pallet exists, if it does not exist, the Create Pallet screen is opened. See chapter above.

    2. If pallet exists, it tries to allocate it to this receipt, if successful, next screen will be Put Pallet. See chapter below.

Note: There are multiple checks done to see if the scanned pallets can be allocated to this receipt. For example:

    • It needs to have a Key Item No. same as any agreement line on the Receipt.

    • It cannot be already allocated to another receipt.

Whatever the reason, the pop-up message will show.

    Put Pallet

This screen is for a particular pallet, either with a newly created barcode or an external one, to be put into a desired zone and bin in the warehouse.

The Put Pallet screen is simply going placing the pallet to a selected bin.

    1. To place the pallet you simply select a zone and bin for the pallet and press confirm.
Just like in Move Pallet, barcodes or QR codes can be used to select the bin.

    ATH;

    1. If you have read the previous functionalities in this User Manual this screen might seem familiar. That is because it is. It is almost identical to the “Move Pallet” screen when the user is deciding where to put the pallet. The small difference here is that in the top right corner you can see a print button that can be used to print the pallet barcode. (Can be useful if the current barcode is damaged or ruined).

The following confirmation pop up screen is displayed

where you can confirm the action. When that has been done the
