Features
Create production lots.
Produce products to a lot with the use of the Trade Item Output Journal.
Produce pallets by registering the production lot on the pallet card.
Consume raw materials to a lot with the use of the Trade Item Consumption Journal.
Create pallets. Pallets can be created for a production order as well as registering pallets created on a freezer trawler through additional fields on the pallet card.
Depreciate trade items from pallets.
Mix trade items on a single pallet.
Remove trade items from pallets.
New production can be added to an existing pallet.
Split trade items from a pallet.
A Bill of Material can be set up on an item card for a finished good. When a finished good is produced, estimated consumption of BOM components can be automatically posted to the production lot, and thus decrease inventory. All BOM components can have a defined Unit Cost, and therefore can the Unit Cost of the finished good be calculated as the sum of all the BOM components required to produce it.
Produce to inventory with the use of Production Agreements.
Keep track of certified raw materials and finished goods through production lots.
Define so-called Production Options in order to create a Production Forecasts. Based on the Production Options already defined for the two processing lines/options, the system forecasts the outcome per line/options and end-product; details the inbound 'Raw Material Qty' to consume and the outbound 'Qty to Produce'.
Create Production Agreements from Production Forecasts.
