    General Tab

The No. field can be left empty and by registering Shipping Agent Code field (or any other field), the system assigns the scheduled trip a new number into the No. field according the designated numbering series as specified in the Logistics setup.

The Voyage no. (Shipping Agent) field is used in reference purposes for further identification with the shipping agent’s trip, in the scenario where corresponding shipping agent is using such identity in communication with others. It will also appear in drop-down list for Scheduled Trip No. in the Logistics-section of a Delivery Agreement within the Shipping-trip.

The Shipping Facility Code is an additional field available to support the allocation process of delivery agreements, as a same field element is available in the Shipping-tab of the delivery agreement itself.

For example, it can be used as an indication for the logistics manager of what was agreed upon in the shipping of the goods to the corresponding customer in more details, than the shipment terms reveal as such for the related delivery agreement.

The Vehicle Code (Default) field  is an optional registering field which will be used a suggestion in the creation of the transport units when entering the loading phase of the related scheduled trip. When used, Vehicle Name and Type will be filled out – automatically.

The Carriage Category Type field is available to support the process of allocating vehicles to the scheduled trip. In the configuration of a vehicle, the same field element is available for classification. For instance, a truck or a trailer would typically be classified with Carriage Category Type as a Pallet serving as an indication when the corresponding vehicle is to be loaded with individual pallets. However, larger vehicles such as a ship or a railway would be classified with Carriage Category Type as a Container for an indication when the corresponding vehicle is transporting one or more containers (one or more transport units). The third option Bulk-Cargo is available when corresponding vehicle is neither shipping individual pallets nor containers – Typically selected when unwrapped cargo is loaded into transport unit such as an Airliner.
