Managing Delivery Agreement Lines within Transport Unit

When transport units have been released the next step is to decide which goods go to which transport unit.

This is done by allocating each Delivery Agreement line to a transport unit.

Notice that at this stage in the process, the allocation of the delivery agreements has already been done in previous chapter when they were selected into the scheduled trip which the transport unit belongs to (see chapter: Allocating Delivery Agreements to Scheduled Trip).

In this example there are two Delivery Agreements with two Delivery Agreement lines each.

The next task is to assign related delivery agreement lines to their designated transport units.

Allocating Delivery Agreement Lines to Transport Unit

The transport unit line is selected, then click Manage Delivery agreement Lines for Transport Unit.

The following page opens up:

The header section shows information from the designated transport unit – The line section shows the connected delivery agreement lines within the related transport unit.

Next click Manage Delivery Agreement Lines for Transport Unit.

The Allocate Delivery Agreement Lines to Transport Unit functionality follows a straight forward structure of selecting from a list of available delivery agreement lines:

Select the line.

Click Close and the Delivery Agreement line has been selected.

Afterwards, notice how the FactBox on the right hand side of the transport unit is affected:

Notice when allocating for the next transport unit how the list of available delivery agreement lines is getting shorter – As previously selected lines are no longer available for next transport unit.

It is possible to monitor the weight of the transport unit by setting a Max Weight Limit on the transport unit card.
