Hold Status

Introduction

Trade Items can be given an "On-Hold" status if they should for some reason be prevented from being consumed into production or shipped to customers. The "on-hold" status is maintained only on trade item level, and thus the ATP and related stock overviews can completely rely on precise information for each individual unit of stock.

Pallet Entries, who have one or more Trade Items, have a flowfield in the record which indicates if any of the related Trade Items have an "On hold" status.

The Production Lot card has a "Default Hold Status", which determines that Trade Items produced against it should be created with status "On-Hold".

Hold Status types

There are eight different types of hold statuses available in Wisefish; three for free stock and four for blocked stock.

Blocked stock
