The following section provides guidance on the process for executing general inventory depreciation in Wisefish.

For more detailed information and guidance on WiseFish Trade Item Journals click here.

In the event that either whole pallets or individual boxes on pallets go missing without an explanation, it can be necessary to remove the trade items from the system via depreciation.

Both entire pallets and individual boxes on pallets can be depreciated.

Go to the Trade Item Physical Inventory Journal and fetch the trade items / pallet that are intended for depreciation.

Click Actions > Get Trade Item Inventory

Use the filter function to assist in locating the correct trade items.

Users may find it helpful to filter based on specific criteria such as location code, pallet barcode, or trade item barcode, depending on the items that are being depreciated.

Example: Making adjustments to recorded Trade Items and counted Trade Items

Manually add counting results of the trade items in fields Trade Items (Phys. Inventory) and Qty. (Phys. Inventory).

Example: Depreciation of an entire pallet

If a pallet is selected, it is possible to depreciate the entire pallet by selecting Not found - Depreciated in the Tally Results field.

Confirming the adjustments

To post the adjustments to inventory and conduct the depreciation, click Confirm Tally.
